INVITATION TO EXHIBIT



The exhibition will form an integral part of the conference. All companies and organisations in the ground water industry will have the opportunity to showcase products, services and technologies, focusing on innovative concepts, new materials and technologies and applications that contribute to sustainable ground water management.

The exhibition will run over three days (Monday 168th - Wednesday 18th November 2009). There will be ample opportunity for delegates and exhibitors to meet regularly during the conference and to build strong alliances. The exhibition hall opens on to the pre-assembly area, which is the main refreshment area and entrance to the main lecture halls.

Visitor profile We expect between 250 and 300 delegates from South Africa and other SADC countries to attend the conference, and 135 oral and poster papers have been accepted for presentation. Delegates will represent water management and ground water consultants, academics, national and provincial government authorities, water and waste engineers and contractors, irrigation designers, civil engineers in the field of waste disposal, decision makers from the various disciplines involved in ground water, manufacturers, material suppliers, machine and equipment manufacturers.

Exhibitors will be entitled to set up their displays on either 2 x 3 metres or 3 x 3 metres of floorspace. No stand equipment or furniture (such as walls, fascia boards, lighting, cupboards, etc) will be provided by the organisers. Companies exhibiting their product are welcome to set up their own displays, but the organisers have also identified an exhibitions company from Cape Town to provide the shell schemes with basic infrastructure (please see the exhibitors booking form), to minimise the cost to exhibitors from other provinces. The company also offers many adds-on, which can be found on the booking form.

Lightweight posters and documents may be affixed to the shell scheme walls with Cellotape and Prestik.
Each exhibiting company is entitled to:
- A logo and descriptive paragraph on the company in the final printed programme, together with details of main contact person.
- Free attendance of one delegate at the conference, daily lunches, refreshments and all social events.
- 1 standard table (with tablecloth); and
- 2 chairs.

Exhibitors are requested to complete the official conference registration form. An electronic invoice will be generated, and the registration fee will be automatically paid when the exhibition costs are paid. Exhibitors are advised to book accommodation at the conference venue when registering.

Exhibitors are required to pay in full prior to the conference. Exhibition space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The floor plan appears on the exhibitors booking form. Please indicate first and second choice of stand on the booking form. If there are more exhibitors than stands available in Vergelegen, the exhibition will either extend to the pre-assembly area, or move to a bigger venue. Exhibitors can commence set-up on Sunday morning 15 November 2009 at 09:00.
